A “One Anothering” Scripture and Thought
Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6
Like Minded means:
- having a similar opinion
- an identical disposition
- in one accord
Believers should be like minded.
- We should be in one accord on biblical truth.
- We should have identical dispositions which reflect Christ.
- We should share similar opinions on spiritual matters.
Why should we be this way? So we might bring glory to God the Father.
ONE-ANOTHERING IN ACTION:
Today, look around you and see if you and your brothers and sisters in Christ are like minded.
If not, pray and ask the Father what you might do to bring that about, to the glory of God.
May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other each with the attitude of Christ Jesus toward the other. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6
