AUGUST 20–MINISTER TO ONE ANOTHER

Posted on August 20, 2023September 1, 2023 by SGLY Devotionals

A “One Anothering” Scripture and Thought
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

Minister means:

  • to give service, care, or aid
  • to attend to wants or needs.
  • to supply comfort or contribute to happiness.

We believers have all been given gifts by God to use for the betterment of others.
We must know what our gifts are and use them wisely.

Find out what special gifts God has given you and then determine to use those gifts every day, for a gift is of no use unless it is used.

Ask God to show you what He wants you to do with what He has given you.

ONE-ANOTHERING IN ACTION:

Today, make it a point to find out what gifts God has given you, and then use those gifts daily in service to Him and for the betterment of the body of Christ, His church on earth.

Read 1 Corinthians 12:4 through 11 which lists some of the Gifts of the Spirit.

Pray and ask God to show you what gift He wants you to use for Him.

Perhaps the Spirit has given you more than one gift, if so, ask God to show you how He wants you to use each gifting daily for His glory and for the betterment of the body of Christ, His church on earth.

There are so many ways to minister to one another daily.

Romans 12:1 through 12:21 shows us different ways we can minister to one another.

God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God’s generosity can flow through you. 1 Peter 4:10
