Walk in Unity.
..we must hold on to the progress we have already made. Philippians 3:16.
In this verse Paul is emphasizing the importance of consistency and perseverance in the Christian faith. He is urging believers to live and walk in unity with one another according to the spiritual truths they have already attained.
He is telling them to continue pressing forward in their spiritual goals, (Philippians 3:14) and to continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, (2 Peter 3:18) always thinking of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24).
As we go through our day today, let’s give thanks to God for the progress we have made while walking daily with God and commit to hold onto what we have done and learned. Let’s pledge to “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only”, (James 1:22) and continue moving forward in our faith one day, one step at a time.
Let your eyes look forward; fix your gaze straight ahead. Make a level path for your feet, and all your ways will be sure. Proverbs 4:25-26.
