A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you are feeling: GUILTY
For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Psalm 86:5 (NKJV)
None of us are perfect, Jesus was the only perfect person on earth, so even though we try daily to do the Lord’s will there will be times we fail and fall short. On those days we need to run to the Lord and seek His forgiveness because He does not want any of us to be feeling guilty. He knows we are human and that we will sometimes slip and fall, make mistakes and get side tracked on our walk with Him, that is why He put His Holy Spirit within us to convict us and to guide us back to living the right way. So, whenever you are feeling guilty, don’t waste your time dwelling on it, run to the Lord, confess, repent and accept His forgiveness, for He is abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him.

Dear Lord, today I am feeling Guilty about______________________________.(tell the Lord why you are feeling guilty today)
Lord, I know You are good and I believe You are ready to forgive me. For You said: There is therefore now, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1 (NKJV)
Lord, I am in Christ, and I am doing my best daily to walk according to the Spirit, but need Your help for those times I fail and today is one of those times… I am sorry for anything I said or did to cause this guilt that is now within me. I want this guilt removed from me so I can feel right again. I am calling on You right now, please be merciful to me and wash me clean with Your forgiveness. Thank You, Lord, for hearing me when I call upon You and for the answer You will give me.
You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me. Psalm 86:5,6,7 (NIV)
