August 21–Psalms Prayer Pocket–Day 21

Posted on August 21, 2025August 19, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you need: PRAYER
The Lord has heard my supplication: The Lord will receive my prayer.  Psalm 6:9 (NKJV)

The Lord loves for us to pray for it is us communicating with Him.  He loves it when we talk with Him, for His greatest desire is to have a close personal relationship with us.
So prayer should be something we do everyday.
But sometimes we feel we need others to pray for us also.  Sometimes we might be weak, ill, tired or just too overwhelmed to pray, and that is a time we can call on others to pray for us, but don’t forget we believers also have God’s Spirit within us who is our Helper and who intercedes for us when we need Him to.  Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 ESV

Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I need PRAYER because______________________________________________________. (tell the Lord why you need prayer today)

I know You will hear my humble request, Lord. I know You will receive my prayer and not turn it away. For You are merciful and You give me Your lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night Your song is with me. Blessed be Your name, God of my life!

A prayer to the God of my life:
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me. Psalm 42:8 (NKJV)

Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!  Psalm 66:20 (NKJV)
