A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you feel: PERSECUTED
My times are in Your hand, Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. Psalm 31:15 (NKJV)
As believers in Christ, we can expect to be persecuted for our faith. Because once we believed and received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we became enemies of the world, the flesh and the devil. Jesus said in John 15:20 “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” As they persecuted Jesus, they will persecute us when we share our faith. Sometimes we may get mocked, laughed at, or rejected when we share the gospel with someone, but we need to not take it personally for that is just the enemy blinding their eyes and ears to the truth. Our mission on earth is to share the gospel, it’s not to save people, that is God’s job. Sometimes our flesh will rise up and cause us to doubt or tell us we aren’t knowledgeable enough to share the good news, or the world will cause us to fear so we are afraid to share our testimony or the gospel because we might offend others. But we can’t let those things stop us, we need to pray and ask God for wisdom and strength to do what He has called us to do, which is what Jesus said in Mark 16:15: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Dear Lord, today I feel I am being Persecuted because_________________________________________________.(tell the Lord why you feel you are being persecuted today)
Lord, I know my times are in Your hand, therefore, I will not worry when those who oppose me for living or speaking Your word persecute me. I know You will deliver me from their hands. I know You are right here with me and You will help me when I call upon You. Therefore, when I am maltreated, oppressed or harassed for my faith or beliefs in You and Your word I will call out to You, Lord, for I know You will help me.
