August 26–Psalms Prayer Pocket–Day 26

Posted on August 26, 2025August 25, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you have: SINNED
I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah Psalm 32:5 (NKJV)

Even as believers there will be times we will sin.  Our old fleshly nature will rise up, or satan will tempt us, and we will stumble and fall into sin.  We will always be convicted by the Holy Spirit who dwells within us not to sin, but sometimes we will ignore the warning or not listen to it closely, and afterwards we will be feeling guilty, sad, and even angry with ourselves.  This is the time we need to run to the Lord and repent, for His word says in 1John 1:9 that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.

Pocket Prayer:
Dear God, I have Sinned because_______________________________________.(confess your sin to the Lord today)

God, I confess my sin to You. I admit I have been unjust and done wrong. I am sorry for this and do repent of it.
Dear God, I believe in Christ that You will forgive me of this sin because in Christ I am covered with Christ’s righteousness, and I in Him I will be blessed and cleansed.
I purpose to read, study, and memorize Your word daily, so that I can be strengthened with Your truth, and this will surely help to keep me from sinning.
Thank You, Lord for Your grace and mercy. Amen.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Psalm 32:1 (NKJV)

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:11 (NKJV)
