A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you are: Weary
I am weary with my crying, My throat is dry; My eyes fail while I wait for my God Psalm 69:3 (NKJV)
Some days we are weary, either physically, mentally or emotionally. We are physically tired, emotionally drained or mentally overloaded. We find it hard to go on because we are exhausted.
Maybe it’s caused by the world we live in, our jobs, school, relationships, or financial problems. We have been trying our best to live a good life according to God’s way and will and we keep getting beat down by the world and the enemy. God tells us in His word not to lose heart for He sees what we are going through and He will help us in His timing. Galatians 6:9 says: And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I am Weary because________________________________________.( tell the Lord why you are feeling weary today)
My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word. Psalm 119:28 (NKJV)
I am waiting for You God–please strengthen me.
As my eyes search Your word–please speak to me through it. Remove my burden. Restore my soul. Refresh me–Revive me–Renew me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalm 51:12 (NKJV)
Thank You Lord. Amen.
