From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1,2 (ESV)
A Crisis is a time of intense difficulty, trouble or danger. It is a time when we might have to make an important decision that can be very difficult because it can be an emotionally stressful time, and we may not be able to think rationally. We might be in shock or be facing an abrupt change in our life. This is the time we need the Lord’s help, wisdom and guidance most of all.
This is the time we really need to seek Him and pray for His intervention, for The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. Psalm 121:5 (ESV)
Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I am Facing a Crisis because________________________.(tell the Lord about the crisis you are facing right now)
I need Your help, Lord. I need to make the right decision today. You made heaven and earth, Lord, so nothing is too difficult for You.
I need You to help me choose right from wrong. I need You to protect me in all I say and do.
I need You to keep me from harm.
I need You to be the guardian of my lips and the keeper of my heart.
I need to know You are very close to me today, Lord.
So, please, let me feel Your presence as You lead me to make the right decision today.
