God’s Grace   Day 26

Posted on May 26, 2025May 25, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

God’s Grace   Day 26
For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.   2Timothy 1:9 NLT

Message:
Over and over, we are seeing verse after verse throughout the Bible telling us that God saved us by His grace.  We did not deserve to be saved.  We did nothing to earn our salvation.  It was all God’s idea from the beginning of time because He wanted to have a relationship with us.  He wanted us to live a life of holiness, peace, purpose and joy and He knew the only way that was possible was for Him to save us by sending His Son to be the bearer of our sins.

That grace has now been revealed by the appearance of our Savior Jesus Christ. He has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 2Timothy 1:10 NCB

Take time today to pray this prayer of thanks to God if you have been saved by His grace.
Dear God,
Thank You for saving me and calling me to live a holy life, not because I deserved it, but because that was Your plan from before the beginning of time.  You wanted to show me Your grace through Christ Jesus, and I am so thankful that You did!

If you are reading this and you have not yet been saved by His grace, I would invite you to click this link—> God’s Plan <—for more information on how and why God is calling you to live a holy life and to receive His salvation through Christ Jesus.
