God’s Grace Day 30
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
Message:
God always hears our prayers, and He always answers in some way. Sometimes it’s Yes, sometimes it’s No, and sometimes it’s Not Right Now—Wait Awhile.
In Paul’s case, God answered “No” to his request to remove his thorn in the flesh. God told Paul that His grace was sufficient for him, for His strength was made perfect in weakness. Obviously, God had a plan and a reason for doing this for He could have healed Paul, but for some reason, known only to God He chose not to. Did Paul complain or get depressed? No! Paul accepted that answer and rejoiced in it. He said he would therefore boast in his infirmities, so that he could experience more of the power of Christ. Isn’t that amazing!
This is a good verse to memorize and recite to ourselves if we find ourselves in a similar situation to Paul’s.
God’s grace is sufficient for everything. We are most blessed by His grace and mercy.
