God’s Grace Day 9
The Lord ·laughs at [mocks] those who ·laugh at [mock] him, but he ·gives grace [shows favor] to ·those who are not proud [the humble]. Proverbs 3:34 EXB
God gives grace to the humble. To those who follow Him in obedience daily. Who look to Him for wisdom and direction, not seeking their own way and will, denying themselves they quietly, humbly carry their crosses daily, praying for strength and always turning their backs on prideful foolishness.
Those who mock God are so deluded and blinded by the enemy and the world that they don’t even realize their foolishness. They don’t know what they are missing by turning their backs on God. He offers so much more than the world, or the enemy could even imagine to give, yet they cannot see that. The Lord laughs at them, yet I am sure His heart hurts over them as He is not willing that any should perish. So today, let’s pray for these lost souls who mock the Lord that their eyes will be opened to see the truth and they will turn to Jesus to save them from their sins.
Thank You Lord, for Your grace and favor to us, Your children, your saints, we who love, obey and serve You daily. I pray for those who don’t yet know You, that they will hear the truth and see the light and seek salvation before it is too late. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
