Walk in the Newness of Life.
Even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4.
When we believed in and on Christ as our Lord and Savior we were “born again” into a new life in Christ,
as it says in 2Corinthians 5:17: …if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Therefore, we should daily walk in that newness of life we have been given. We should realize that the old things in our life have passed away and we need to let them go, not dwell on them, or not be tempted to recall them for we are now new creations in Christ.
We need to focus on what Christ wants to do in us and through us. We need to live in the now and look forward to the future and not look back at the past, for God has a plan and purpose for us that He wants to fulfill.
As He says in Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
