January 23—Walk in Safety—Psalm 23:4

Walk in Safety.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4.

This verse is telling us of the comfort and security we have in the Lord’s presence. If we are walking with the Lord, we have no reason to be fearful for He is with us and will protect and comfort us. The entire Psalm 23 is a beautiful message of all the benefits we believers receive while walking with the Lord. Take some time to read the entire Psalm 23 today, it is only six verses, but it is very comforting to read.

Seven Blessings of Psalm 23:

Provision–I shall not want for anything–Psalm 23:1
Peace–He makes me lie down to rest and leads me beside still waters. Psalm 23:2
Healing–He restores my soul. Psalm 23:3
Protection–Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for He is with me. Psalm 23:4
Victory–He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies. Psalm 23:5
Joy–He anoints my head with oil. My cup overflows. Psalm 23:6
Security–I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6

If we follow the Good Shepherd, we will walk in blessings daily.
