July  22–Who Am I in Christ? – Prayed For

In Christ I am: PRAYED FOR

  • “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;” (words of Jesus) John 17:20 NKJV
Jesus was saying that He prays for all who believe in Him.
  • Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.  Hebrews 7:25 NKJV
Intercession is the action of saying a prayer on behalf of another person, Jesus in heaven prays for all those who come to God through Him.
  • Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.  Romans 8:34-35 NKJV
Jesus in heaven prays for the elect, those who are believers in Him.
  • Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
    Romans 8:26-27  NKJV
The Holy Spirit who is within us believers helps us and prays for us.

Believers, Jesus and His Holy Spirit are praying for us every moment of every day.
His Spirit is within us teaching us how to pray also.  We are covered in prayer.  Walk securely in that knowledge and give thanks!
