July 6–Who Am I in Christ? – Brought Near

Posted on July 6, 2025July 4, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

In Christ I am:  BROUGHT NEAR
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.  Ephesians 2:13 NKJV

Believers, think back, do you remember your life before you believed and received Christ?

Before Christ you were far off from God, you were living in darkness, separated from God, lost and blind to the truth, but then God begin to draw you near, He brought you to a spiritual awareness, opened your eyes to the truth and led you in His grace and mercy to His Son Jesus to receive salvation so you could be near to Him forever, so you could have a close, personal relationship with Him now and for all eternity, for in Christ He took you out of the kingdom of darkness and brought you into the Kingdom of Light!
Jesus said:  “I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”  John 12:46 NKJV

Today, believers, we give thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:12-14 NKJV

Rejoice! Hallelujah!!  Amen!!
