June 10–Heart for the Lord–Day 10–GOOD HEART
“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things..” Matthew 12:35 (KJV)
Today’s Thought:
We would all like to have a Good Heart for a Good Heart brings forth good things and good treasures are stored there.
Jesus said: “No one is good but One, that is, God.” Luke 18:19 [NKJV]
Therefore, a Good Heart would have to be one that is full of God.
It would be a Heart that carries the goodness of God wherever it goes.
Today, let’s ask God for a Good Heart, one that is full of Him and His goodness.
Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord,
today I ask that You create in me an Good Heart. A Heart that is full of YOU!
I want a Good Heart that is filled with Your good treasures that others will see and seek because it reflects You!
I want a Good Heart that has good things to share with others.
A Good Heart that will reflect You in everything it says and does.
So, please, God give me a Good Heart that is full of Your goodness.
A Heart that You can use for Your Glory, O God.
