June 13–Heart for the Lord–Day 13-JOYFUL HEART
For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart. Ecclesiastes 5:20 NKJV
Today’s Thought:
Do you have a Joyful Heart? What is the “joy” of your heart?
Jesus said: “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11 NKJV
A Joyful Heart is glad, happy, delighted in living life now. It does not look back in sorrow at the past but rejoices in today and keeps busy bringing God glory each moment of its day.
Let’s pray for a Joyful Heart so we can experience the joy of serving the Lord each day of our lives!
Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord,
today I ask that You create in me a Joyful Heart so I can stay busy and do the things that bring joy to You, others, and myself.
I want to live my life with a Heart full of Joy so I can serve You with gladness and happily share that joy with others.
I ask this in the name of Jesus, for He said:
Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and your cup of joy will overflow. –Jesus John 16:24 TLB
