June 21–Heart for the Lord–Day 21–SERVANT HEART
…doing the will of God from the heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, Ephesians 6:6,7 NIV
Today’s Thought:
A Servant Heart is submissive, it does the will of God. It serves it’s Master in obedience to His word. It attends to its Master’s duties out of love and care for Him, not for its own gain.
It is a humble servant of the Lord.
It hopes someday to hear the Lord say: “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Matthew 25:23 NKJV
Let’s pray for a Servant’s Heart so we can serve Him and do His will daily.
Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord,
today I ask that You create in me a Servant Heart so I can serve You and do Your will.
I want to have a heart that is obedient to Your way, word and will.
Please give me a Servant’s Heart so I can serve You in love daily.
