June 27–Heart for the Lord–Day 27–UNDERSTANDING HEART
“When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes ,and snatches away what was sown in his heart..” (Jesus) Matthew 13:19 NKJV
Today’s Thought:
An Understanding Heart takes what it hears and perceives the meaning.
It interprets the facts but also believes in faith. It has good comprehension.
The enemy has a hard time snatching away the word that is sown in an Understanding Heart.
Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord,
today I ask that You create in me an Understanding Heart, so I can understand your word and keep it in my heart, then the enemy will not be able to snatch any of it away from me.
I pray that Your Holy Spirit, who dwells within me, will give me an Understanding Heart so I can understand Your word and then go forth to produce an abundance of fruit for You, because, “…the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” (Jesus) Matthew 13:23 NIV
