June 9–Heart for the Lord–Day 9–GLAD HEART
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, Acts 2:46,47 (NKJV)
Today’s Thought:
A Glad Heart is happy. It is joyful and generous.
It enjoys the simple things in life.
It loves to praise God and enjoy goodwill with His people.
What a wonderful heart to have!
A Glad Heart:
Generously gives
Loves others
Always praises
Does good
Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord,
today I ask that You create in me a Glad Heart so I can joyfully praise You and have favor with all people.
I want a Glad Heart that draws others to You, God, as it shares it’s gladness each day.
I want a Glad Heart that gives, loves, praises and does good in Your name, my Lord God.
Then, I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:2 [NKJV]
