March 20–Proverb A Day—Day 20

Today’s Proverb:
Don’t say “I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the Lord to handle the matter. Proverbs 20:22

Today’s Thought:
If someone harms or harasses you, don’t try to get even, just tell the Lord and let Him help you.

In this way you will glorify the Lord by being obedient to His word and you will also be reflecting His character to those around you.

For “With God we will gain the victory and he will trample down our enemies.” Psalm 108:13

Today’s Action: Wait on the Lord

Today: If I am wronged:

I will not seek vengeance.
I will not hold a grudge.
I will ask for the Lord’s help.
I will wait for the Lord’s help.
I will thank and praise the Lord for His help as I wait.
I will do as Jesus said: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
