“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 (NKJV)
Today’s Thought:
This verse translated in The New Living Translation says:
“Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.”
This would be a good prayer to begin each day with.

- COUNT YOUR THOUGHTS
“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.” Psalm 139:17,18 - ACCOUNT FOR YOUR TIME
“So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.” Romans 14:12 - PRIORITIZE YOUR DAYS
Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23
Dear God, help me this day and every day to realize the shortness of life.
You have given me today, I have no guarantee of tomorrow, so please help me to be thankful for each moment I have and to redeem the time You give me here on earth wisely.
Give me a heart of wisdom so that I will have good judgement in my daily life.
I pray that my focus will always be upon You, God, then, with Your help, I will be able to deal with the stress and pressures of life.
I want to use the time You give me each day wisely and perhaps help others to do that also.
Thank You, God, for giving me the opportunity to be alive today!
May my every moment bring You glory! Amen.
