March 24–Proverb A Day—Day 24

Posted on March 24, 2024March 23, 2024 by SGLY Devotionals

Today’s Proverb:
Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?
  Proverbs 24:11-12

Today’s Thought:
We need to share the gospel with the lost. Every day we may encounter someone who does not know the Lord.
We need to make it a point to share our faith with others in a non-offensive way.
If we think of it as this verse says—then we might find it easier to do.
Only Jesus can deliver them from spiritual death, but we need to do our best to make Him known to them.
This verse makes that plain.

Today’s Action:
Jesus said: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

Today:

  • I will seriously take this verse to heart.
  • I will pray and ask God to show me how I might witness to the lost around me.
  • I will be prepared to share the gospel whenever the opportunity arises.
  • I will look for ways to share my testimony with those I meet or know.

“For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”  2 Corinthians 2:15
