Today’s Seed is: Listening
It has been said that listening is something that is so needed yet is very scarce in today’s society. There are so many distractions and people are so busy nowadays that many don’t take the time to really listen anymore.
I am sure at some time you have felt unimportant because you realized no one was listening to you explain something or you found yourself telling a story that no one was paying attention to. It is sad, but it happens daily, so today our spiritual seed is listening. We are to be quick to listen to those around us, and that means really listening, not letting ourselves get distracted and putting all our focus on what a person may be saying and then being slow to speak.
Often times while someone is speaking instead of us listening fully to them, we are thinking in our minds what we might say in response to them, and this is not really listening then is it?
So, gather some listening seeds in your pocket and go out into your world today with your ears open to really listen and you might be amazed at what a blessed day you will have.
