Planting Spiritual Seeds—Day 4-Compassion
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. 1Peter3:8 NIV

Today’s Spiritual Seed is Compassion
The dictionary defines Compassion as a sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it

Our Lord is very compassionate, and He wants us to show compassion to others also.
But when He [Jesus] saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Matthew 9:36 NKJV

Can you think of someone to whom you show compassion to today? Perhaps it is someone you know or just a stranger on the street. Whoever it is let your heart go out to them in their distress and offer a kind word of some kind. Perhaps just a smile or hug to show you care, or even better a scripture offering them hope would give them some strength.

This would be a good scripture verse to write out and stick in your pocket to share with someone today:
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1Peter 5:7 NLT
