Planting Spiritual Seeds—Day 5-Cultivate
Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. James 1:2-3 NLT

Today’s Spiritual Seed is Cultivate.  Today’s focus is on you and your faith.

In order for us believers to help others we need to keep our faith strong.
We need endurance when our faith is tested and strength to keep on keeping on and growing in our faith.

So, today, let’s focus on cultivating our faith.

Cultivate means to prepare or nurture something to make it better.  So today, we will focus on preparing our faith to increase its strength.  We will pray and ask the Lord to show us how we can do that.  It may be by reading His word more or praying more.  It may be by studying His word or memorizing it.  It may be by letting go of somethings that are hindering our spiritual life or weakening our walk with the Lord.

Use the scripture verse below as a guide to what you might need to focus on today to grow your faith.
 Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
Hosea 10:12 NKJV
