A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you are: GRIEVING
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14 (NIV)
The Lord sees us in our grief and trouble. He wants to help us through it. He waits for us to call out to Him so that He can comfort us and strengthen us.
He is always near and His help is just a prayer away.
Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I am Grieving because__________________________.(tell the Lord why you are grieving today)
My vision is blurred by grief; my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies. Psalm 6:7 (NLT)
I am worn out from sobbing; my pillow is wet from weeping. I know You see, for You observe my trouble and grief and You will have mercy on me, Oh Lord. You know I am in trouble, You know I am growing weary, therefore, I commit myself to You for You are my helper, You are my vindicator. You will help me in my grief and Your word will give me strength.
Thank You Lord. Amen.
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. Psalm 119:28 (NIV)
