Praise His Name: HIDING PLACE
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7 (NIV)
Today’s Thought:
Young children who are shy or fearful often run to hide behind mom or dad when a stranger comes near. Once they have the shelter of their parent, they feel safe, for they know mom or dad will protect them from harm. As God’s children we have a Hiding Place we can run to in time of fear or need. This Hiding Place is God Himself, in Him we will find all the shelter and protection we need at any time.
Today’s Praise Pause:
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. Psalm 119:114 (NKJV)
Dear God, today I pause to praise You, as my Hiding Place. A Hiding Place where I can go to find solace or protection. A Hiding Place where I can feel secure. I am so glad to know that I have a Hiding Place I can run to in times of trouble or fear. A Hiding Place where I can leave the cares of this world behind and feel safe in the shelter, protection and peace that You offer. I pause to praise You today God, for being my Hiding Place, 24-7!
