Praise His Name: PURIFIER
“He will sit as a Refiner and a Purifier of silver,.. “Malachi 3:3 (NKJV)
Today’s Thought:
A Refiner and a Purifier removes all the imperfections in something to make it better. God wants to refine and purify us to set us free from anything in our lives that might keep us from being the best we can be.
Sometimes when things are removed from our lives it is hard to see the why of it. Removal causes change, and change can be hard to accept.
Removal can also hurt or be uncomfortable. But…if God is doing the removing, we can be sure the end result will be for good and for something that will make us better spiritually.
So, today, let’s pause to praise God as our Purifier, and thank Him for what He is doing in our lives to purify us and make us better.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Today’s Praise Pause:
Dear God, I pause to praise You, as Purifier. I am glad You want to cleanse me of anything that is harmful to me. I am glad that You want to make me better by removing things in my life that might hold me back from fulfilling the purpose You have created me for or things that might keep me in bondage. I thank You, even though Your working in my life causes change or might be painful at times, I will trust You to work all things out for good and I will praise You daily for being my Purifier! The One who is refining me to be the best I can be for You!
