Praise His Name: SHIELD
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Proverbs 30:5 (NKJV)
Today’s Thought:
A shield protects us. That is its purpose. It defends us when we are in a battle with the enemy. What better shield could we have than God!
I counted twenty times in scripture where it says the Lord is our shield!
So, let’s pause to praise Him right now that He is our Shield, who protects us night and day.
The LORD is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. Psalm 28:7 [NLT]
Today’s Praise Pause:
Dear Lord, I pause to praise You, as my Shield for You protect me night and day from the enemy’s harmful darts.
I need not have any fear, for You are my defense, my strong Shield who will raise up to protect me at any time.
I thank and praise You, my Lord God, for being my Shield.
