SEPTEMBER 3—ASK-SEEK-KNOCK— Prayer for God’s Presence in Our Lives Today

Posted on September 3, 2025September 2, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.  Acts 2:28

Today let’s pray that God will help us to live consciously in His presence today.

Let’s ask Him to let us feel His closeness today as David did when he said: ‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.”  Acts 2:25

Let’s seek to experience the fullness of joy only He can give as we walk through this day with Him by our side.

  • Let’s ask Him to bless our thoughts, actions and words.
  • Let’s ask Him to help us do the good works He has prepared for us to do for Him.
  • Let’s ask Him to shine His light through us today, so others will see Him in us.

Dear Lord,
I pray to You this morning, noon and evening, that You will make Yourself known to me today.  I want to feel Your presence today, Lord, everyplace I am and in everything I do.  Hear my voice Lord as I cry out to You and reach out to You, for You are here at my right hand.  I want to experience the fullness of joy that only comes from being in Your presence Lord.  Thank You, Lord.  Amen.

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.  Psalm 5:3

Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:17
