August 3–Psalms Prayer Pocket–Day 3

Posted on August 3, 2025August 3, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you are in a: BATTLE
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. Psalm 18:39 (NKJV)

O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle. Psalm 140:7 (NKJV)

No matter what we might be battling, the Lord will help us. If it is something in our minds, we can pray and ask His help for He will cover our head with His thoughts, and we will have peace.
If it is a physical confrontation with someone near or far, He will arm us with the strength we need to endure, and if it is with an enemy, He will subdue anyone or anything that comes against us—we just need to pray and ask for His help always.

Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today my Battle is with ____________________________ (tell the Lord what you are battling today.)
Lord, I believe You have armed me with strength for this battle, and I believe that You will cause me to overcome those who have risen up against me; because You will diminish them and thus cause the battle to be less intense.
I just need to go forth in peace, praising You, and trusting You, keeping my mind focused on You and not on the enemy, and You will give me victory!
And, when I battle internal thoughts and feelings that are not of You, I ask that You help me overcome them so I can renew my mind. Cover my head with Your thoughts, Your words, and bring me peace.
Thank You Lord. Amen.

He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me. Psalm 55:18 (NKJV)
