Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2
Today we are praying for ourselves, that we might devote ourselves to prayer, and have an alert mind, and a thankful heart.
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. Colossians 3:16
- Let’s pray daily that we will be filled with the Holy Spirit so that our lives will reflect Christ.
- Let’s pray daily that we will have thankful hearts that are dedicated to serving God.
- Let’s pray that we will fellowship in unity with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
- Let’s pray and praise the Lord daily for who He is and for what He has done for us.
Dear God,
I come before You with a thankful heart. I am so grateful to You God for Your grace, mercy and love. Thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to be my Savior. I am so grateful for Your word which I can read daily and for Your Holy Spirit who helps me to understand it. I pray that my mind will always stay alert and focused on You. Thank You for all the Spiritual Blessings I have received in Christ. Thank You for caring for me 24/7. I want to praise You daily for all these things and more Father God. I pray that I will always have a thankful heart and an alert mind.
In Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.
