I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer. Psalm 120:1
Today let’s pray for those who are going through troubles, perhaps it may even be ourselves.
If we know the specifics of the troubles, what they are and why they have come about, we can pray accordingly, however, if we only know that someone has troubles of some sort but don’t know exactly what they are or why they are happening, we can just ask the Lord on how to best pray for them, for the Lord knows their troubles and what they might need. Praying in the Spirit might be the best way to pray in this circumstance.
Dear Lord,
I pray for those who are right now going through troubles, whether of their own doing or of the enemy’s,
If they are believers, I pray that You, Lord, would help them in their time of need and show them what they need to do to be overcomers.
If they are un-believers, then You know whether these troubles will be something that will draw them closer to You Lord and open their eyes to salvation, if so, You know how best to work in those circumstances and I pray that You will, for I know You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to be saved.
You know best how to lead and guide all of them, believers and un-believers, so I pray that You will work all things together for good in their lives and You will be glorified. Thank You Lord. Amen.
But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. Psalm 18:6
“Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” Psalm 50:15
