But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Have you ever experienced what felt to you as an impossible situation? Have you ever felt hopeless, wondering how things would ever change for the better in your life, not knowing what to do, and not seeing any solution to your problems? I have, and I have prayed and seen God move to bring about changes in my life for good that I never thought would be possible.
So today, let’s pray for a miracle. Let’s pray for an impossible situation to be rendered possible. Let’s pray for possibilities beyond our imagination. Let’s believe Jesus words when He said: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. “ –Jesus Mark 11:23 For what seems to us or to others as an impossible situation, something that to our finite minds is impossible, is always possible for God, because, as Jesus said, “…with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37
Dear Lord,
Today I am praying for, what to me, is an impossible situation. I cannot see anyway that this situation could change unless You were to step in and change it. In my finite mind I cannot see a solution to this problem, I cannot fathom how this obstacle can be overcome or how this circumstance can be altered, but I believe You can. I believe Jesus’ words when He said that You, God, can do the impossible. I believe Jesus’ words when He said if I pray and believe, and not doubt, I will receive. So, God, I am praying today for what I see as a miracle. You know what this situation is, and You have the answer and the solution. So, I will believe and trust in You to change this impossible to possible. Remove this barrier in my life and bring about the change I need,
and if I need to do something to bring this about, show me what I must do Lord. Thank You Lord. Amen.
