Blessing: Riches, Honor, Life
By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4 NKJV
Message:
A meek man, Robert, was often made fun of in his youth because he was quiet, shy and humble, however Robert didn’t seem to let the taunting bother him, and he grew up to be a successful businessman who loved, feared, and served the Lord, living a humble life, yet having abundant riches many of his former youthful acquaintances who taunted him, did not. Robert’s riches were not just material goods or money, they were peace, love, joy, all the fruits of the Holy Spirit, things money nor the world could buy. Robert was a generous man, and he was honored by his family, friends, employees, and community. He lived a happy long life. He was a living testimony to Proverbs 22:4 and left that legacy to his children to carry on.
As we live our lives in humility, putting the LORD and His will first above our will, thoughts and understanding, fearing Him and walking with Him daily we will find ourselves richly blessed as we receive His favor, protection, provision, and goodness in this life here on earth.
Let’s give the LORD our thanks and praise for who He is and what He does for us daily!
