Precious Promise regarding AGING
Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you. I will carry you and save you. Isaiah 46:4
Thoughts:
Believers, God promises to love and care for us each day we are alive on this earth. We need not worry for He will always be with us. God says even when we are old, we will still be able to be fruitful for Him.
- Psalm 92:14 says: They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,
- And in Isaiah 40:31 He says: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”.
- Therefore, …we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day .2Corinthians 4:16
So, my brothers and sisters in Christ, as long as we hope in the Lord and walk with Him daily on His path, we will be safe, taken care of, and remain strong and fruitful even in our old age. Aren’t those wonderful promises!
Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You so much for Your Precious Promises to me. I am so grateful that You will be with me always even into my old age. I am so encouraged to know that even though my physical self may be wasting away, my spiritual self is being renewed day by day, and growing stronger and more fruitful for You. Thank You God for Your word and for the hope I have in You. I look forward to many wonderful days following You here on earth and after that an everlasting life in heaven with You and Your precious Son Jesus Christ, through Whom I have gained all these wonderful promises. It is in Jesus’ name I now pray. Amen.
