A Precious Promise: FORGIVENESS
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Thoughts:
“For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” Psalm 86:5
The Lord promises us forgiveness, all we have to do is call upon Him and repent. He is ready to forgive. He is abundant in mercy. He is faithful, just and good.
Remember these promises, claim them, repent, confess and be cleansed.
Prayer:
Dear God,
As I come to You daily and confess my sins, anything that You see in me that is not of You, forgive me for it and cleanse me.
I confess, I repent, and I trust that You are faithful and just to forgive me and to cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
God, I am so glad that Your mercy is abundant and that You are so good and ready to forgive me and all those who call upon You.
Thank You, Father God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
