A Precious Promise: Protection
The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. Psalm 91:14
Thoughts:
The Lord promises protection, safety, ease and peace to those who love Him, listen to Him, and trust in His name. In this un-stable world the promise of protection is such a treasure!
We can be sure to claim this promise daily if we read God’s word, listen to Him, obey Him, and place our trust in Him, for then it will show Him that we love Him.
“But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.” Proverbs 1:33
What wonderful promises! Let’s be sure to claim them daily!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I want to claim these promises of protection. I want to live in safety and be secure without fear of harm.
So, each day I will purpose to show I love You by listening to You, obeying You, and trusting in You.
I will do this by praying and reading Your word, and then listening to what You are speaking to me and then going forth to do it, for I want and need Your protection in my life day and night.
Thank You, God, for these wonderful promises! In Jesus name I pray. Amen
