Standing on the Promises: Salvation

Posted on October 26, 2025October 22, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

A Precious Promise: Salvation
…when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Titus 3:4-6

Thoughts:
In today’s verse we see the Promise of the Trinity–God–Jesus–Holy Spirit

A loving God showing kindness and mercy saves us from sin and death by sending Jesus Christ to be our Savior.

He offers us a new life, a washing away of sin, a rebirth and renewal by generously pouring out His Holy Spirit on us.

What do we do to receive this Promise?

There are no righteous things we can do. We need only to believe in and on Jesus, and we will receive.

Prayer:
Dear God,
I am so glad You are a kind and loving God who is full of mercy.
Thank You for providing a way for me to be reconciled to You by sending Your Son, Jesus, to save me from sin and death by washing me clean and giving me a rebirth and renewal.
Thank You that You have generously poured out Your Holy Spirit so I can live abundantly and victoriously every day! As I believe, so I will receive.
Thank You, God. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
