August 19–Psalms Prayer Pocket–Day 19

Posted on August 19, 2025August 18, 2025 by SGLY Devotionals

A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you are: LIED (to or about)
The proud have forged a lie against me, But I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart. Psalm 119:69 (NKJV)

The Contemporary English Version of the Bible translates the verse this way: My reputation is being ruined by conceited liars, but with all my heart I follow your teachings.
Quite often we may find ourselves the victim of some of these people.  They are godless and they love to build themselves up by bringing others down.  They tell lies and undermine people to make themselves look good or to get sympathy for their cause.  They step on others in order to rise to the top of the ladder.  Our world is filled with people like this and sadly the enemy uses them to create havoc in our lives, however, God knows all and He sees our innocence and He will vindicate us if we pray for His help.
(Refer to my testimony on Day 13 Psalm Prayer Pocket about being Hated)

Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I am being Lied to or about because____________________________________________.(tell the Lord how you are being lied to or about

Lord, arrogant, godless, people are steadily and fraudulently creating false statements that are meant to deceive and cause harm, but I will follow Your rules of moral conduct with my whole heart, and I believe that You will stop them from speaking lies, about me or to me, as I stand firm in Your word.
Thank You, Lord for what You will do for me today. Give me the strength I need to stand firm in You and Your word, so I can be an overcomer and see victory as You stop the mouths of those speaking lies.

…But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped. Psalm 63:11 (NKJV)
